SOVIET-CHINESE FRIENDSHIP MEDAL W/ID This medal was given to Soviet military and civilian advisors to the Chinese Government back in the 1950s. Plane reverse medal is in near mint condition with original pin on the ribbon. Comes with silk ID, text in Chinese with Russian translation - "This is to certify that Liubakov Pavel Petrovitch was awarded Soviet-Chinese Friendship Medal". The ID is signed by Mao Tse Dun (facsimile). The ID has very minor wear, about XF+ condition

MEDAL FOR DEFENSE OF STALINGRAD Made of brass. Instituted on December 22, 1942. Awarded to defenders of the city. Ribbon is new, medal has very minor traces of wear and would grade XF. It was issued to Alibaev, Emadin Alibaevitch, on July 6, 1945 for "taking part in the heroic defense of the Stalingrad".

MEDAL FOR DEFENSE OF MOSCOW was instituted on May 1, 1944. Awarded to defenders of the city. Made of brass. Issued to a Major Saulkin Veniamin Ionovitch on December 9, 1944. Personally signed by Commander of the 337th Rifles Division Hero of the Soviet Union Red Guards Colonel Gorobets.

MEDAL FOR CAPTURE OF KOENIGSBERG Instituted on June 9, 1945 and awarded to soldiers and officers, who took part in capture of Koenigsberg. Made of brass. About 760,000 issued. Ribbon is new, medal shows some darkening and minor traces of wear. (Document not yet translated)

20 YEARS OF VICTORY MEDAL Instituted on May 7, 1965 and awarded to army, police and KGB personnel and war veterans for commemorating 20th anniversary of Victory. Made of brass. Awarded to Urbanovitch Adam Antonovitch, on February 10, 1966.

40 YEARS OF VICTORY MEDAL - MILITARY TYPE Instituted on April 12, 1985 and awarded to army, police and KGB personnel and war veterans for commemorating 40th anniversary of Victory. Made of brass. Awarded to Smirnova Reveka Yakovlevna on May 20, 1985.

30 YEARS OF VICTORY MEDAL - MILITARY TYPE Instituted on April 25, 1975 and awarded to army, police and KGB personnel and war veterans for commemorating 30th anniversary of Victory. Made of brass. Awarded to Karavatsky Georgiy Nikitovitch on December 15, 1975

70 YEARS ARMED FORCES MEDAL Instituted on January 24, 1988 and awarded to army, police and KGB personnel for commemorating 70th anniversary of the Soviet armed forces. Made of brass and copper-nickel alloy. Awarded to Sr. Lt. Sidorenko Nikolay Semionovitch on February 22, 1988

HUSBAND AND WIFE SOVIET/POLISH GROUP (9 awards): A very interesting group containing Soviet/Polish awards to husband and wife. His awards (Lt. Colonel Bich, Nikolay Alexeevitch): Medal for Defense of Stalingrad (medal is XF+, certificate is quite worn); Grunvald Shield (screwplate is original, both XF+); 20 Years of Victory (both XF+); 30 Years of Victory (both XF+); Veteran of the Armed Forces (both XF+); 1939 KOMSOMOL ID (original photo, XF); 1945 Polish Officers School Graduation Certificate (XF); 1953 Middle School Graduation Sertificate (XF); DOSAAF ID (badge is missing). Her awards (Red Guards Major Kabanchikova, later to become Bich Nina): Medal for Liberation of Warsaw (issued by the Polish Army, both XF+); Medal for Victory over Germany (both XF+); 30 Years Army (both XF+); 70 Years Army (both XF+); Some sort of Polish Military ID (I wish I could read it, photo missing, about XF); Polish Military Medical School Graduation Certificate (photo missing, about XF); 1943 Communist Party ID (original photo, XF+). *** not all documents are shown here.

This group of awards belongs to Sergeant Zayats Nikolay Efremovitch. All award documents are properly stamped and signed. This group consists of:
* Order of the Red Star, made of solid silver and enamel. S/n is 1754847. Perfect enamel, very minor wear, XF+ condition.
* Medal for Battle Merit, made of solid silver and enamel. S/n is 1921508. Some very minor cracks in the enamel, minor wear, lightly worn ribbon. This is the first award listed in the booklet and was awarded in June 1945.
Both above awards are listed in the same booklet, issued on March 6, 1946, very minor tear and wear,XF+ condition.
*Order of the Great Patriotic War 2nd class (1985 issue), made of solid silver and enamels. S/n is 1190180. MINT condition. the award booklet is in near mint condition.
* Medal for Liberation of Warsaw, made of brass. Minor wear, lightly worn ribbon, connecting ring is not original, but is old, XF condition. ID issued on June 25, 1947, very minor wear, XF+ condition.
*Medal for Capture of Berlin, made of brass. Very minor wear, has a dark spot at 8 o'clock position, lightly worn and slightly faded ribbon, XF condition. ID issued on August 18, 1947, very minor wear, XF+ condition.
*Medal for Victory over Germany, made of brass. Minor to moderate wear, lightly worn ribbon, XF condition. ID issued on August 30, 1945, minor tear and wear, lightly soiled, XF condition.

A very nice set to a WWII veteran.

This group of awards belongs to Red Guards Jr. Lt. Kniazkov Vladimir Grigorievitch. The award documents are properly stamped and signed. This group consists of:
*Medal for Capture of Budapest, made of brass, comes on original steel suspension. Multiple very minor traces of wear, nice patina, very lightly worn ribbon. ID issued on August 4, 1946, minor wear.
*Medal for Capture of Vienna, made of brass, comes on original steel suspension. Very minor traces of wear, nice patina, very lightly worn ribbon. ID issued on February 26, 1946, minor wear, moderate moisture damage, all text readable.
*Medal for 30th Anniversary of the Soviet Armed Forces, made of brass, comes on original brass suspension. Multiple very minor traces of wear, nice patina, very lightly worn ribbon. ID issued on September 19, 1949, minor wear.
